As the body goes through the process of aging it is important to try to maintain as much strength, balance, flexibility, and cognitive function as possible in order to stay mobile and independent for as long as possible.
Not everyone knows how to do this, or they do know how but they don't do it. That's where the Successful Aging program comes in. We focus on the older adult community and help individuals improve daily living. We have worked with clients with heart conditions, cancer, dramatic brain injuries, rheumatoid arthritis, knee and hip replacements, walker and wheelchair bound individuals, and just about anything else you can think of!
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
10:15am-10:45am
In this 30 minute class we focus on strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility. This is a beginner level class and is great for individuals who live a more sedentary lifestyle, who are wheelchair bound, use a cane, or a walker, and for those who prefer a shorter workout class!
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
9:30am-10:10am
In this 40 minute class we work on strength, cardiovascular, cognitive, flexibility, and balance. This is a good starter class to determine if you need something harder (Level 2), or something easier (Level 1).
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
8:30am-9:25am
In this 55 minute class we work on strength, cardiovascular, cognitive, flexibility, and balance. This is a faster paced class and is good for individuals who live a fairly active lifestyle. In this class we workout on the floor once a week.
